Payment

Payment methods

What payment methods can I use to make a donation?

We try to make things as easy as possible for you. That’s why you can donate through elevaide using a credit card, PayPal or via SEPA direct debit (Europe only) and make a difference.

These methods attract different fees which you are not obliged to pay but can choose to do so when setting up the donation. If you decide not to cover the fees, these will be deducted from your total donation so that the organisation receives a net donation.

For those who do not wish to cover the fees, a donation via SEPA direct debit will ensure that the project of your choice receives the largest possible net amount.

How much of my donation actually goes to the project?

We promise you that 100 percent of your net donation goes to the organisation.

Why do we refer to it as a net donation? Depending on the payment method you choose when making your donation, the payment service provider may charge a fee of up to three percent.

Since we require that every organisation on elevaide limit the use of donations for organisational development to ten percent, you can rest assured that 90 percent of your net contribution is put to use on actual project services.
